The night demurred off with a brutal Ladder Match between Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens for the Undisputed WWE Championship. Leading up to this fight, Owens had been making life miserable for Rhodes, attacking him during a contract signing with Shawn Michaels.
In the match, both men used graduations as munitions and took some insane bumps. The defining moment came when Rhodes hit a Cross Rhodes from the top of a graduation, knocking Owens out long enough for him to climb up and snare the title. Cody retains!
Men’s Royal Rumble Match – CM Punk’s Road to WrestleMania
The Men’s Royal Rumble Match was loaded with top stars like CM Punk, John Cena, Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, and Logan Paul .
John Cena’s elimination. Cena, on his farewell stint, had dreams of main- eventing WrestleMania one last time, but Roman Reigns threw him over the top rope, crushing those expedients.
As the match neared its end, it came down to two icons CM Punk and Roman Reigns. After an violent battle, Punk outwitted Reigns and excluded him to win the Mumble, securing his ticket to the main event of WrestleMania.
Women’s Royal Rumble Match – Bianca Belair Steals the Show
The Women’s Royal Rumble Match was just as instigative. Big names like Rhea Ripley, Bayley, and Liv Morgan were in the blend, along with surprise returns from Trish Stratus and Lita.
But the star of the night? Bianca Belair. Entering at # 3, she showed off her inconceivable strength and stamina, barring multiple stars. In the final moments, she faced Bayley and tossed her over the ropes to win the match! Belair now gets a title shot at WrestleMania 41.
Tag Team War –#DIY vs. Motor City Machine ordnance
In a 2- eschewal- of- 3 Cascade Match for the WWE Tag Team Crowns, #DIY( Johnny Gargano & Tommaso Ciampa) defended against Motor City Machine ordnance( Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin).
First Fall Motor City Machine ordnance struck first, cascading Gargano.
Alternate Fall Ciampa evened the score with a Fairy Tale Ending on Sabin.
Final Fall #DIY hit their finisher, Meet in the Middle , to secure the palm and retain their titles!
